It calms the skin it touches, and it won't strip the barrier the way a sulfate shampoo does. But a bath is a bath — if the itch is being driven from the inside, you'll want the Allergy & Immune Chews doing that part.
Medicated shampoos are built to kill something, and most strip the skin doing it. This is built to clean and leave the barrier intact — colloidal oatmeal, aloe and coconut oil instead of harsh sulfates.
Then it's free. Ninety days, one email to lauren@trykindpaws.com, every dollar back — and you keep the bottle.

The bit everyone skips is the waiting.
This is the step that matters. Oatmeal needs contact time to calm anything.

Residue is what makes a dog itch after a bath. Rinse longer than feels necessary.

SOAP-FREE, BARRIER-FIRST
Harsh sulfates take the skin's oil barrier off with the dirt. He smells good for a day and scratches for a week. These three clean the other way round.

The skin-soother dermatologists reach for on itchy skin.
Calms what it touches
Cools hot spots and irritated patches on contact.
For the angry patches
Locks moisture into the coat instead of washing it out.

Give Kind Paws 90 days. If you don't see a difference, email lauren@trykindpaws.com. You get every dollar back — and you keep the tub.
Weekly is fine, and more often if a vet has told you to. It's soap-free, so it doesn't punish the skin for a second wash.
Over 12 weeks, yes. It's tear-free.
The aloe cools it and the oatmeal calms the skin around it. A hot spot that's open, spreading or smells needs a vet, not a bath.
Lightly, for a few days. It's the actual coconut oil rather than a perfume, so it fades instead of turning stale.

No scratching after the bath
That was the pattern with every other shampoo — clean dog, itchy dog by Wednesday. Doesn't happen with this one.
Three minutes is the trick
Followed the instructions properly and left it on. Massive difference compared to lather-and-rinse.
Gentle enough for the puppy
Fourteen weeks old, first bath, no crying and no red eyes.
Lovely, not medicated
It's kind to his skin but it didn't clear his yeast smell. Got the chews for that side of it.
Coat is soft for once
White coat that always went crunchy after washing. Soft now.
Doesn't strip him
You can tell. He used to get flaky two days after a bath and that's stopped.
